Like Grandma used to say, "When you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas." While I, of course, do not wish pain or suffering on anyone, I have no sympathy left for Katie Holmes. She is the maker of her own malady. The cure for what ails her is a divorce and she knows that. But she seems to be in no hurry to give up all that attention and glitz. Que sera sera.

I just want to say that I'm an "integrative medicine" kinda gal. That is, I believe that Western medicine does have an important role to play in all of this. Western medicine's forte is in the treatment of acute conditions. Where they are not as effective as other disciplines is in the treatment of chronic conditions.

Without any personal experience with autism, can I just drop by to say that if indeed little Miss Reminii Pagan has autism, and Jett has autism, and possibly Suri develops autism, is there any kind of shared experience? Could it be ... parents who've spent goodly amounts of time hooked up to an electroshock machine? Could it be .... barley water????

It's just too intriguing to learn that possibly two of the prince/princess $cientology generation would develop the condition!...

I don't know why, but I never get tired of discussing Jett. Maybe because I hope that if the truth gets out there, there might be hope for him.
PP, I agree with you - - it certainly sounds like Clam Remini's daughter may be facing some issues. It's truly sad that Clam Remini doesn't realize that the behavior her daughter is exhibiting isn't normal and is a cry for help. I wonder if we will, one day, hear that she too is...

Thanks guys for the info on NAET and candida. I might look into these things to improve my own health. (I have both mental and physical health problems. I don't really care if I reduce my medications, but I am looking for some strategies to improve myself with. Would it be a good idea to talk to my doctor/psychiatrist about candida, would they know all the information, or would I have to look it up myself?

Steelkite gave me a lot of info on *N*'s and helped myself and another poster who can remain anonymous, to deal with a very nasty *N* we were encountering on another forum (of course)

I used to work for an NAET practitioner..... despite the websites claiming that the whole technique can't possibly be effective, I went through the treatment myself and had ENORMOUS responses to treatments. I've talked to Devi Nambudripad a few times on the phone too, she is a really interesting person.

You can get NAET for pets too..... isn't that crazy?

Princess, If you haven't yet, look into NAET treatments for your child's food allergies. They gave me my life back, and you can do them. They hold the allergen while you do the pressure point treatment and they avoid the allergen for 24 hours and it cures the allergy. It retrains the body to think of that thing as safe.
