Suri costs USD 50 mio |
Lead | ||

The title story in the last "Gala" magazine is about the gruesome twosome. Rumours have it that they are indeed going for a divorce and Rosemary can
have USD 50 mio under the condition that Tommy Gurl keeps Suri.

The celebrity mag that I often used to quote and translate here. It was the one that had been critical about the yacht club.

omg this would totally make my day if true! I hope she spills details, but of course she won't because she'll have been paid off. As much as I can't stand GMD, he does seem to make a better parent than KAK, but wow, since I do believe she is biologically hers and not his. I hope KAK's dad comes out fighting. |

I hope like hell that if there is even a sniff of truth about this that KAK spits in his eye and fights to keep Suri. She doesn't deserve to grow up in
the GMD's whacked out $limetology word, especially not if it is crumbling, as he is going to self-destruct big time when it happens. I remain hopeful that
deep inside there is some spark of loving motherhood in KAK and that, as the death grip loosens from around her mind post-split, that will start to reassert
itself. Also, I feel that the Holmes family as a whole would be a better extended immediate family to be around rather than The Grinch and The Sisters Scary.
Whatever happens, I still strongly suspect that KAK has been semi-disconnected from Suri virtually from birth, probably on Tiny's orders and definately in accordance to the warped "teachings" of L Wrong Hubbturd. I think he had very little intention of keeping KAK on the Cruise payroll until death do they part, and by enforcing this "doctrine" it increased his chances of being able to retain Suri post-split and, effectively, retain control over KAK. Its just the same as he has done to Nicole. It's true that we don't know what
we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives

I wouldn't be surprised if $50 million was the amount she was promised in her contract and that includes property (this would-be brownstone in NYC) and any
producing deals.
ETA: FWIW, I don't see KAK fighting for Suri nor do I see Martin Holmes taking on Bert Fields or Tink's other team of $500 per hour lawyers. Unless he is licensed to practice law in CA, I don't see Holmes getting involved in this at all.

I'm stocking up on popcorn.
When you factor in the extended family situation and the cult, I believe Suri would be better off with KAK. Suri's life has already been warped and with every year that passes, there is more likelihood she and her life will be ruined beyond redemption. However, the only way I can see her mother retaining her is if she is willing to spill the beans on their relationship, his sexual preferences, the parentage of Suri and life inside the cult. In short, risk all that money and call him out. I don't see that happening. Unless she has inner stores of strength that are hidden below the beaten-down look she's been wearing for some time. Having a divorce lawyer for a father is a help, but Tiny has long years of practice with iron-clad contracts. He'll have her well and truly trussed like a turkey. It's also a risky career move, depending largely on just how powerful Tiny really is (or who else's balls he has in a vice). His attempts to sink Nicole didn't work, but she is a much better actress than KAK. In addition a large number of people would applaud her, many in Hollywood like to keep the craziness under wraps and would not welcome it. Full exposure Katie. Full exposure. Never discuss Scientology with the critic. Just discuss his or her crimes, known and unknown.

I don't see Katie spilling the beans either; mainly because I am sure there is a confidentiality clause in her contract which, in all likelihood, would not
only cancel the monies she has already received but stand to receive and would probably impose financial penalties on her. Not to mention that even in
Tinky's diminished stature around Hollywood, he could still pull strings to effectively terminate her career. I doubt she would want to go head to head
with that.
And I'll just say it. I don't think Katie would fight for Suri. I think that is probably the reason her parents were so distraught and upset over her making the deal with/marrying Tinky. Sure, she was marrying a twice divorced idiot involved in Scientology but she was bringing a child into that mess that she was going to sign over. Even if the Holmes family didn't like or approve of Tinky (which I don't believe they do), I still think they would make every effort to include Suri in their family and get to know her, even if they didn't believe the marriage would survive. The only reason I can fathom why grandparents as family oriented as the Holmeses are said to be would not do these things would be if they know Suri will not be allowed to be a part of their family and they will have no contact with her in the future.

They're idiots, which I don't necessarily find offensive. But I do find it offensive that they think I'm an idiot and would believe what they're saying. ****************** www.psychoticstate.blogspot.com ![]()

If Tink wasn't in that cult, I would say give him Suri. . . With that said, I don't think that spilling the beans would help KAK from a legal
standpoint. Tink could be screwing every rent boy in Hollywood and replace Davey M. as #1 in CO$, and it still wouldn't matter unless it could be shown
that he was a danger to Suri. Also, considering Suri is at least 3 and he is listed as the legal father, I don't think it would matter either if she
revealed he wasn't her bio-father.
I guess KAK could threaten to go public and embarass him, but Kidman probably had far more dirt on the Wee One and she still 'lost' her kids. Also, if KAK went public and said this was a sham relationship, her reputation would be shot to hell, too. I don't think she would want that. I think at the end of the day they'll have "joint custody" meaning Suri lives with MTP full-time, and KAK gets her for a few photo ops a year. |

I agree, PS. And remember Martin Holmes' toast at the schmedding where he never mentioned Suri? ETA: I believe the $50 million (or whatever she's supposed to get) is worth it to Katie. She isn't gonna fight for that child. |

FWIW, the woman that I met last summer who knew the Holmeses said Martin Holmes has NEVER mentioned his granddaughter.

Nicole Kidman is a much stronger person than Katie, and she wasn't able to get her kids away from Tom.
I think this is going to be more like a Michael Jackson/Debbie Rowe custody situation. Dad keeps the kids, and mom visits several times a year. |

Any mother who would willingly and contractually give up her child to Cruise & Cult, in exchange for $50 million is a "mother" alright! Katie
never seemed to have any maternal attachment to Suri, unlike Nicole and her children.
If Katie has no instinct or inclination to protect Suri now, why on earth would we assume she would fight for her later? Ain't gonna happen, kids. |

I would like for Katie to fight for her child but that's just wishful thinking on my part. I'd like to see the Holmeses trying to gain custody but I
doubt that would ever happen too. They probably view the whole situation as a loss and Suri is just another unfortunate chapter in the story. On the other
hand, perhaps the weakening of the cult in recent days will give the Holmes family some leverage in the courtroom. Who knows?
Suri doesn't deserve the fate of being abandoned and raised in the cult environment. For her sake, I really hope things change. |

I don't believe KAK knows what kind of power she actually holds if she just went public with everything, it would blow the lid on the Clambake Society and
free her AND her child- and just maybe cost MTP a whole lot of money. My 'wishful' scenario is that KAK would contact someone just as powerful or MORE
powerful than MTP-hmm let's say for interest sake-Steven Spielberg for help 'out' I don't think Spielberg has any love lost for MTP and I just
bet he would be more than happy because of what the Clambake Society did to his wife in their fair gaming.
Well I know it is wishful thinking but I think KAK has more 'power' than she realizes. The only way, in my view for a celeb stuck in that club to get out safely is to go public with the whole mess. |

I always thought that if she truly wanted help 'out', she would have turned to one of her MM or AMS co-stars. I truly think that one of them would have
helped her.
Personally, I think she enjoyed life in her gilded cage. Something was keeping her there, and it wasn't love of DH. |

I really doubt Tom will get to keep Suri. Isn't the mother generally the custodial parent, unless there's some major reason why she couldn't be
responsible (like drugs, mental illness etc.)? Although I wouldn't put it past the Co$ to fabricate something.
Maybe part of the reason Tom kept the older kids is because they have biological ties to Co$ (if you believe the Bella/DM rumours, which I do!) I can't believe KAK would sign away her own (and not Tommygirl's) flesh and blood. And once Suri gets a little older, and less cute and pap-worthy, Tommy's interest will wane and he'll have no use for her anymore. |

Kidman and Cruise had and still officially have "joint custody", but it goes without saying those kids appear to be with Tommy full-time.
I suspect he and KAK will have the same deal. As far as her signing away Suri, I can certainly believe it. She will not have been the first or the last woman to have done so. I personally believe that Suri was a contract baby from the beginning. |
