In the Vancouver Sun, a man who had worked with Michael said that he wore a wig after his hair caught on fire during a rehearsal. The fire caused severe
burns, and his hair couldn't grow back after that, so he started wearing wigs. It was after the fire accident that Michael started using painkillers as
well. I'll see if I can find that article, it explained a lot.

I can't get over how cold hearted Joe Jackson sounded in that video. Keep hoping that one of the aunts or uncles petitions to be guardian for the kids, but

MJ's mother has got to be in her eighties. How fit is she to raise his kids? It's absurd. If the Jacksons get the kids, they control the estate. Based
on Joe Jackson's recent actions, I'd rather see those kids sent together to a good, foster home. How many more kids does Joe Jackson get to screw up
and damage???

Yahoo has a series of photos of Joseph smiling and glad-handing on the Red Carpet at the BET awards. He is a nauseating, disgusting creature.
I echo everything that psychotic said as well. Nothing excuses what Michael did, if, as I believe, the allegations against him are true. But the true evil here falls squarely on the head of Papa Joe Jackson. I believe he destroyed, twisted, and corrupted a gentle soul, and his wife Katherine was his accomplice by way of doing absolutely nothing to stop him. I remember that sweet, adorable, shy kid, always alone and looking down, walking across the quad at Portola Junior High (now called Portola Middle School), and try to reconcile him with what he became, and his tragic end, and it boggles my mind as it breaks my heart.

It is very very well known that Joe Jackson seriously physically and emotionally abused all of his children. Not to mention that LaToya claimed that he
sexually abused her and another of her sisters ( and I very much believe her).
Aren't there laws that prevent orphaned children from staying in a home with a seriously abusive person? I'm from Canada, and I'm pretty sure we have laws about that here (even though they don't always get followed. There have been a few recent cases where children have died after being placed in the care of family members who were abusive.) |

I've now heard from three separate sources that Joe Jackson lives in Las Vegas and that Catherine lives in Los Angeles. Technically, they own separate
properties deeded in separate names. But I don't know what that means in real life. I suppose it's possible that they don't live together. I
don't know how she tolerated him all these years - but maybe they just live separate lives. Who knows when it comes to the Jacksons? I know the nanny is
still with the kids, so far. Joe is such a pimp.
BTW, Peach, I can't believe you remember the Generalisimo Francisco Franco think from SNL. I thought I was the only old fart here.

Allow me to interrupt the Outraged Over Papa Jackson banter for a second with a piece of comic relief for you all.
Since Michael died, I've received various automated condolences messages, for example from Ticketmaster, where I purchased the tickets, from AmEx, with which I purchased the tickets, from O2, which is my phone provider and sponsor of the O2 arena where the concerts were supposed to take place. Now AEG, the promoter of the concerts, has surpassed each and every one of the above as they have realised that 'they had to do something for heartbroken fans at this tragic time'. And so if you have already received your lenticular ticket (which I have not, as my original booking for 12/07 was moved to March, which was fine), you are allowed to keep it as a memento. Except if you DO keep it, you don't get a refund. I am soooo touched that I'll happily take the £ 150 back. Sheesh. |

So I was watching the Martin Basheer interview with MJ from a few years ago, and MJ says it was his sperm and that Blanket's surrogate mother is
