ITA with you. I think that and a fat paycheck was what convinced her to sign the dotted line. Ya know, I may be in the minority, but I think her career would have stalled even if she hadn't hooked up with MTP. I think she would have found work in supporting roles but she was terrible in The Gift, Batman Begins and Thank You For Smoking. (Seriously, she was so unbelievable it was cringe-worthy.) Also, she was pushing 30 and getting too old to play the ingeune. I never bought the idea that she had this hot, rising career that he threw water on.
