I narrowly escaped a big-time accident yesterday with another car and a semi truck. The interstate was covered with ice, sleet, and snow, so it was pretty slippery. Most people were going 30-35mph, which was good. The red car on the right side of me started losing control and crossed over into my lane. Luckily enough, I had time and space to swerve over into the right-hand lane (where the red car came from), and missed hitting the car. The red car was not so lucky as it continues to spin out of control into the left-hand lane and was hit, driver's side, by a semi-truck. I heard and saw the whole thing, and I've been searching our news sites last night and this morning for information on the accident. I don't have any medical experience, and I couldn't stop where I was because that lane was the only one open now and I didn't want to cause a pile-up. I did see the people behind me stopping and checking on the drivers, so I was really glad for that. I just want to know if the driver is OK. It absolutely freaked me out.

I HATE THIS ICY WEATHER!!!image
