Judging by the morning news, it seems very likely the Scientology issue will be postponed until next year. Today is supposed to be the last sitting day for the Senate for 2009. They debated the Emissions Trading Scheme and carbon reduction policies until late into the night and there is talk that the session will be extended into the weekend, as only one of the points was effectively dealt with yesterday. This is the current Government imperative, as they really wanted to get Australia's position in place before the upcoming meeting in Copenhagen, so it doesn't appear likely that our pet issue will make it to the table this year.

Never discuss Scientology with the critic. Just discuss his or her crimes, known and unknown. And act completely confident that those crimes exist. Because they do.
