Terrible tragedy and it must be difficult to keep things going in the government when all the top ones are gone at the same time. The people of Poland seem to unite to make sure that things will continue the same.
Poles have this trait that, in times of great difficulty, they can be strong, united and determined (and in good times they tear themselves apart, but that's a whole other story).

Given that, apart from the president, among the deceased were a large number of MPs, military leaders and the head of the central bank, this is a catastrophe as far as governing the country goes.  I hope that the Poles, including the countless opposing political parties, can band together as they have in the past.
