I am Catholic, so you may consider me biased, but this is one of the clearest, most compelling pieces I have read on what the Catholic faith believes in relation to absolute truth. I like the way the Archbishop calls for Catholic Christians to become better educated on what the Church actually teaches, as opposed to what many people think it teaches.

This would be true for other faith traditions as well. The 10 Commandments are fundamental "ways to behave" in Jewish and Christian religions. As I have heard said many times, they aren't the "10 Suggestions." In Scientology, they appear to be optional. Not a good thing.

I think the Archbishop does a great job of calling attention to the dangers of Scientology beliefs and why that whole belief system is founded on an extremely shaky foundation.

Disclaimer: It's Sunday morning here and I waiting for the kids to get ready for Mass. I am in that contemplative state of mind right now.

"Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!"
"Alive! It's alive! It's alive!"
"As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly."
"I'm an experienced woman. I've been around...Well, all right, I might not've been around, but I've been...nearby."
