Craptaculous, do you have anything more to go on? I like to think that I'm reasonably well educated--in the blues, at any rate--but you haven't given me much to work with. Glad you liked the song, anyway. Here's a song that isn't related to what you're interested, but I'm posting the link anyway. It's a song by Little Miss Higgins, the pride of Saskatchewan, Canada (birthplace of Joni Mitchell). It's called "Bargain Shop Panties." Good fun.

ETA: I just had a brainstorm. There's a guy named Holger Petersen, who hosts a program,Saturday Night Blues, on Canada's national public broadcaster, the CBC. He also hosts a provincial blues program, Natural Blues, on CKUA, Alberta's community/educational radio station. On top of all that, he owns a blues/folk/roots record label, Stony Plain Records, in my hometown, Edmonton, Alberta. I'm pretty sure you can email/snailmail him. Here's his web page from the CBC. Listen to his program on a podcast and see what contact information he gives out. If this guy doesn't know the answer, chances are nobobody does. Here's his CBC web page.

You should still listen to "Bargain Shop Panties," however.
