She's not only crazy, she's also a complete douchebag.  Hey, nice going, there, Kirstie!  Way to ingratiate yourself with the neighbors. Eyes

From the comments:

186 days. That's how long we're predicting till this vanity-business shuts down. A diet store that sells to people once or twice a month doesn't seem to justify a high foot-traffic location like this one. It's as though Kirstie Alley just drove by and saw some dry cleaner had gone out of business and the location was available, so she opened a store there. No thought to what the street might need. No feasibility study for the neighborhood.

Adding to the trouble, is that if you've seen her pitch this stuff, it's complicated to use, with several different ways you have to mix powders and use pumps each day, not to mention the need to eat only organic food, in a neighborhood that doesn't have many supermarkets that sell it. And the cost isn't low for the program, no actual food included.

Last, the company is built around a spokesperson who isn't exactly demonstrating the benefits that the diet program has to offer.

Unfortunately this means we'll probably have to wait another year and a half to get something useful in that space. Despite everything, I don't wish Kirstie Alley ill will, despite the loud block party without the neighborhood's awareness or support. If she had opened a gym there I'd be cheering! It's just not good use of the space.
