Katherine of Aragon was said to be very pretty when she was young. Her most striking feature was her waist-lenght reddish blonde hair. Unfortunately, all those miscarriages and the stress of being married to Henry resulted in weight gain and the loss of her looks.

Hans Holbein continued to be employed by Henry, so there is doubt that his depiction of Anne of Cleves made her look better than she actually looked. It is possible that the painting was a good likeness of her, but she & Henry simply did not click when they met IRL.
