Poor teenage Catherine was another victim of the Howard/Boleyn lust for power.  She was used as bait for the king and a pawn by the men in her life. She was not smart, immature and, like any teenage girl, loved the attention and baubles that being Queen brought her. Had no clue about the down-side and the consequences of her rash actions.
