I sincerely doubt Henry would have divorced Katharine had she produced the living male heir. That situation gave Anne and her family the leverage they needed to play on his issues and make her Queen. She did, after all, succumb to him before marriage and it was her pregnancy that got her over the line. Had he already had a male heir, that pregnancy could have been treated just the same as her sister's and her daughter would have been just another of Henry's bastard children. It's not impossible she would have just become another notch on his bed-post, or he would have moved on to another mistress.

What a change to history it would have been if Elizabeth had never become Queen.
