It's things like that that make me suspect Suri has a hidden developmental issue. Even though my son was not typical at age 6, I teach elementary school and I know what most six-year-olds are like.  That ("entertaining" a child with a stuffed toy) is what you do with a two-year-old.

Or with a developmentally-delayed older child to encourage interaction.

I agree. My daughter will be 3 years old in two months and Suri's toys, blankets, etc. seem more appropriate for a child that age than a 6 year old. (Indeed, my daughter isn't wrapped in a baby blanket and wouldn't want to be.)

It's really telling to see pics of Suri and the recent one of Brooke Shield's younger daughter, Grier, who was carrying an iPhone and seemed so much more mature by contrast.

Are there any pics of this kid riding a scooter, a bike or carrying something like an iPad or smartphone?
