from bricksandstones: I totally agree with the following opinions. The CD reportedly contained recordings of phone conversations between Lynne Spears and Britney's estranged husband, Kevin Federline, in which the two are apparently working in cahoots.
Spears is forbidding her mother from seeing her two sons, and in one conversation, Lynne is said to be arranging to meet K-Fed and the boys, and says, "I have to be careful that Britney doesn't find out!" The recordings were made by a private investigator, according to the tab. In another call, Federline assured Spears' mother that his court battle with the singer was going well. "Kevin told Lynne that he had everything under control," adds the source. "He was just going to let Britney hang herself in court."
I Agree: "KFed is NOT the mature one. He was living off Britney's money, spending like a glutton, and partying non-stop while she was home with the babies while they were married. Only since the separation has he started to help out. Big deal. That's his job. He's the DAD. Millions of men do that every day without all the support of nannies.
I believe that Britney's mom did say the things on the tape. Months ago the "news" confirmed that Britney's mom and KFed were spending time together with the kids when Britney was having her breakdown.
Britney was surrounded by opportunists when she was at the top of her game - Madonna for one. Now that Britney needs help, no one is there for her. Madonna doesn't call her. Instead, she makes fun of her on David Letterman. Britney is completely lost with no guidance and few if any real friends. She can't even trust her mom. And the public won't give her a break or the benefit of the doubt.
I hope she steps OUT OF the limelight and takes care of herself. She seems to be addicted to it though. It's her only affirmation, and she has very low self-esteem."
