Wot's this? I don't recall any report of reconciliation happening. Tom was notified of his father's imminent passing and he went to be at his father's bedside. According to what he told Diane Sawyer in April last year, he and his dad didn't say (or hardly said) a word. I'm not here to definitively claim what was actually said between father and son, the point being that no details of the conversation--specifically reconciliation--were ever made public (not to my knowledge anyway). Madame, I've seen that whenever an estranged family member comes to the bedside of a dying relative, it's characterized as a reconciliation, regardless of what might have been said at the meeting.
