Sure:
The naso labial lines run from the outer edge of your nostril to the corners of your mouth. In the earlier pictures they are quite pronounced, and in the later ones they dont show up. This is because the md has injected a filler either a temporary one like Restylane or collegen or a permanent one like liquid silicone.

The numbing cream is a ansthetic gel applied to the areas to be injected and left on for about 25 minutes or so which renders the injections pretty much painless. You feel a slight popping sensation when the needle penetrates, but it doesnt really hurt. This is totally optional, and some people go without, but I see no reason to have something hurt if it doesnt have to.

As far as the lips, if you waant to avoid Meg Ryan's Donald Duck mouth, but want fuller lips, the secret is you dont put much filler in the pink, exterior part of the lip. If you do, the the lips protrude outward, giving you the quackers. You want to place the filler where the two lips meet and slightly interior towards the teeth. This gives you a wider, fuller looking lip without them protruding.

850 units is more than I get. I get about 5-600, but I only do the forhead and crow's feet (isnt that a lovely term). NK has it all over her face which smoothes it out, but renders it pretty immobile. The thing about botox is that after a while you unlearn the mannerisms that are creating the wrinkles. Also, the muscles that create the furrowed brow atrophy. I find that I have to do the crow's feet quarterly, but the forehead only every other time. If it's well done the botox really does take 10 years off. I'm 43 now and I've been doing it scince I was 38.
