IMHO, nothing these women ever say and do will be good enough for the British press and the royal's flunkies. This is 2008, for heaven's sake, and they are still talking about Fergie/Beatrice's weight, Middleton's class or lack of it, and Davey's party girl style, as if the royals, who, after all, are basically a wealthy, upper class, incredibly priveleged family, should marry partners with some kind of royal jelly. The more this goes on, the more Princess Diana's paranoia makes sense. I doubt that any of these women are perfect, or saintly, or will ever be. So what?

On another note, Autumn Kelly and Peter Phillips (who is Princess Anne's son) are being severely criticized for selling the rights to their wedding coverage to Hello! magazine. The British rags say that it is unfair and not very seemly for a "royal" wedding to be sold in this way. IMHO, the rags are pissed that they got cut out and so they are stirring the pot. Why shouldn't they sell their story, keep some control, and make some money? But, she is Canadian, very middle class, and not of the royal lineage, so she is open to criticism.

I dont' really care about the royals, but I don't like to see this kind of classism and sexism.
