I've been on this board for the last 5 or so years. I've watched Katie Holmes (on here) go from someone widely pitied and defended to a figure of fun and criticism, second only to Tom Cruise. I'm not saying KH doesn't deserve it---I've always said she's an opportunist. But the lot of us seem to have made a 180% turn concerning all things Katie.
So, at this point, I think some summing up is in order. What is your take, briefly, on Katie Holmes today? Which one of these three 'camps' do you fall into: DEFENDER (KH is an innocent damsel in distress)
INDIFFERENT (KH is just showing up for the check)
DETRACTOR (KH is a female Tom Cruise & a punchline)
And what, if anything, changed your viewpoint?
As for me? I say KH's just logging time and squirreling away the bucks. I'm INDIFFERENT & pretty much always have been. Although, in recent years, I've come to truly appreciate what a talentless actress Katie is.
