Never discuss Scientology with the critic. Just discuss his or her crimes, known and unknown. And act completely confident that those crimes exist. Because they do.L. Ron Hubbard

She looks very different from her more famous portraits. Does anyone know the painter?

I know what you're saying, but she really was a bit of an easy lay for her age, time and position. Considering virginity was required of Princess Diana in the 20th century, no way was the little Howard girl coming out of her marriage to Henry alive.

Considering virginity was required of Princess Diana in the 20th century, no way was the little Howard girl coming out of her marriage to Henry alive.Interestingly enough, Anne Boleyn was probably not a virgin when she met Henry. In fact, she was supposed to wed another man and I believe when he asked to marry her, he implied that they had already done the deed. Also, Diana's virginity requirement had more to do with Charles's great-uncle, Lord Louis Mountbatten, then anything else. He felt that not only should a suitable bride be a virgin but ideally, quite a few years younger. (The main beef he had with Camilla was that she was the same age as Charles.) Of course, he did have a particular woman in mind when he made these requirements: his granddaughter, Amanda Knatchbull. Unfortunately for him, she wanted no part in this at all.

I'd like to think had she given him a living male heir history would have been different, but who knows?
