Scientology forays into black community |

Alright, this has nothing to do with TomKat but I cannot tell you how ANGRY the following article makes me feel. Scientology "honoring" Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam??? How irresponsible and fooking STUPID can these so-called black leaders be??? Why is Alfreddie Johnson listed as being a Baptist when in fact he's a well known celebrity SCIENTOLOGIST (don't come telling me that one can be a Baptist and a Scientologist because it's a blatant LIE).

Holy crap.
TC said on some TV show that you can have your own religion and be a Scieno. I don't believe him, of course. But it looks as though they're succeeding in fooling a lot more people now. These alliances with the African Ameican community is getting scary. |

Yes, Islam is a religion. Black Muslim is what they used to say, but I don't know if that's current. Jackson is not Muslim, but he surrounded himself with members of Nation of Islam, as his security guards at the trial. He's a bit of a mess. Originally he and his family were Jehovah's Witnesses. But clearly the whole medical intervention thing wasn't working for him. He had a rabbi on his staff for a couple of years who counseled him. The rabbi was a consultant for Court TV during the last trial too.

His brother Jermaine joined the Nation of Islam around 10 years ago, I think.

African-American Clams | #6 | ||

The fact that Farrakahn is impressed with some or all of Hubbard's claptrap is no surprise. Remember his interminable, rambling speech at the Million Man March? At one point he got off on a numerology tangent that makes Dianetics sound downright logical by comparison.
The reason there are few black Scientologists in the U.S. is probably socio-economic; Hubbard wasn't interested in attracting poor people. Unfortunately, people of color have historically made up much of this demographic. Now that recruits in the better-educated, predominantly white upper classes are dwindling because of the information about the true nature of Scientology that is now available, they are looking to the lower economic rungs of our society for "raw meat" and whatever money can be wrung from them. The disenfranchised are also probably an easier sell for a bizarre paradigm; witness Rastafarianism. As for Michael Jackson, remember Lisa Marie tried to deliver him to the CO$ without result. I have to believe the CO$ might have looked at Jackson and rejected him as too much of a PTS. Xenu, aliens and thetans look pretty tame next to Michael. |

This sounds like pure lobbying and politics. Scientology it sounds like is donating money to the likes of Louis Farrakhan who probably doesn't know or want to know what Scientology's about. Scientology is giving him money, I'm sure he'd accept money from anybody. Notice he didn't go to their little award ceremony. Scientology it seems is also "donating" their way into some churches not just in black communities though. A big mistake on their part (the christian church's). Once their naive parishioners learn what study tech is, they'll figure out they've been lead astray by their church. Then they go find another church that hasn't sold it's soul to "the devil" L. Ron Hubbard.
This is just one of Scientology's ways of trying to make themselves more mainstream. By infiltrating their their way into mainstream religions through the use of phony pastors, and kickbacks. I believe their attempt will fall flat on it's face. The old adage still applies "you can fool some people sometime, but you can't fool all the people all the time". Scientology has it's tentacles stretched out in every direction. Each of it's tentacles has a name H.E.L.P, A.B.L.E., Youth for Human Rights International, Applied Scholastics, Narconon, Hollywood celebrities, and etcetera. |

Old L. Ron could hold his own against Michael Jackson. Some of the things L. ron used to do while charting the seas on the Freewinds ship was just as sick, if not worse than MJ. Except L. Ron was into young girls, and abusing childern. Come to think of it he might have been into young boys too, but it's a well known fact that he had a group of young girl servants on the Freewinds. They ended up with a lot of power in the org because L. Ron would only communicate through them, and along with David Miscavige ended up controling Scientology after L. Ron bought the farm.

Considering the blacklash against Islam as well as many other middle eastern religions im really not at all surprised that scientology would extend a hand because Louis Farrakhan can command a HUGE amount of people who are at this time are even more disenfranchised than usual. Its a wise move on the part of scientology.

Obviously, sexual deviance does not trouble the CO$ leaders when it comes to celebrity recruiting. They regard homosexuality as an abomination, but they recruit TC and JT without reservation. No, Michael's triple-distilled weirdness goes far beyond sexual appetites. I believe he might have scared even DM and his cohorts.

hmmmm, this seems as good a place as any, I just found a link to confirm the Kelly Preston other son: the one that is never mentioned in Hawaii. It seems the links I had before have been scrubbed, however, I went in through the "husband's" name and finally found something. I had a hard time remembering his name.
My understanding is this "child", he's a teenager, is in Hawaii and has been raised by his grandparents. Kevin and his ex-wife, Kelly Preston, have a son. Serving 41 months for cultivating marijuana. [2003] |

I know. reading today, off topic, on Charlie Sheen and his current malaise, made me think back to Kelly and the "unfortunate" shooting incident when Charlie shot her while they were living together. This was post Gage.
Soooo, fast forward, CO$ again has one cut all ties to past, including your own child, which makes the problem with Jett a little more understandable (not at all justifiable) where Kelly is concerned. She's able to easily walk away from her problems, family, whatever. CO$ just was a handy avenue. I don't for a minute think she's a believer, it's a mealticket. |

the muslims that i know would never associate themselves with a group sprouting this ^^^ as doctrine. if i knew it wouldnt make a martre outa CO$ i'd find out how to get this info to the muslim extremists. |
