I'm amazed there hasn't been an outing arranged, to show off Connor and Bella playing with their little sister (like Brooklyn Beckham was at the soccer game)- surely that would be an obvious PR move? The perfect TomKat family, after all everyone knows KAK is a great stepmum...

I think they still have the 6 months split custody, so Bella and Conor are mostly likely with her and her family. Just because we don't see them doesn't mean they aren't there. And if they are there, it's so refreshing to not see them toted about as p.r. boosters for their mom.

They've announced three other films for her while her publicist has only said she's still in talks to do "The Lady from Shanghai". She's been filming in Australia for several months now and is getting ready to film in Western Australia where they'll be staying in tents. She's also mentioned she's going back to Nashville when "Australia" wraps. As the mom of a teenager, I can heartily second what PP said about them wanting to appear in public with their parents.

She came out after her wedding and said she was going to spend more time with her kids, Keith and the hint of trying for a baby. Then she seems to work non stop. I can't believe what I do about the Tomkat saga without believing that Nicole married MTP as a career move. Her ambition is breathtaking. Truly.

As someone whose parents were divorced when I was a teenager, I just hope that the kids don't feel as if their loyalties are being pulled between the two parents. I'm sure they love both their parents and I hope they can live their lives as peacefully and privately as possible.

I think that what works for pre-adolescent kids and is basically a 50/50 split between both parents may not be practical when it comes to teenagers. That's when they start to have more independent social lives of their own and hopefully the parents will agree to work around them.

Posts: 2416 08/04/07 16:15:19	When I was in third grade, my parents' custody agreement changed so that I was with my mom during the school year and saw my dad every other weekend, and my dad in the summer (seeing my mom every other weekend). It made it easier during the school year to have my home base at one place, so maybe they have a similar deal- except with MTP during the school year and Nicole during the summer.
