Star Magazine reports the two currently live in different wings of their Beverly Hills mansion and this situation works best for them. A source said, "Of course they spend time together alone at night like most married couples; after all, they conceived Suri! In fact, they even joke about having separate bedrooms to their friends - Katie says Tom snores, and this way she can get her beauty sleep!" The source claims they've always had this arrangement. "At first, it was because Katie was Catholic and single, and they were only dating. It was the proper thing to do. Now that they are married, they don't feel the need to alter the arrangement. Tom has his master bedroom, and Katie has hers." Katie also wanted her own suite so she could design it how she wanted. "Over the course of several months, Katie created a larger space to have as her own. In the end, she designed the room of her dreams, a very feminine room painted in pastel colors, with a small carousel and filled with many stuffed animals." Um...that sounds more like Tom's room. TomKat will move into their bigger $35 Million BH mansion later this summer and everything will stay the same. Yeah, meaning they still won't boink. They should just move into different homes in different cities in different countries on different planets. They can meet up for the occasional photo-op. I can't believe anyone (except maybe Sunchick) would actually write the following: At first, it was because Katie was Catholic and single, and they were only dating. It was the proper thing to do. What? Like she didn't have a place of her own to go home to? Either they were "only dating" or they were living together as a couple. Which one is it? Propriety - why the hypocrisy? Surely they don't think that anyone still believes that Katie was still a virgin when she met Tiny. Were they still "only dating" after KAK's pregnant was announced? Oh and the "beauty sleep" is really working for her, isn't it? I'd love to know Dr Lillian Glass's interpretation of this cosy little shot.

As I've said before, the Cruise Camp needs to hire someone to be in charge of continuity - they can't seem to keep all their lies straight. Not to knock anyone's tastes, but doesn't this sound like an odd choice for a supposed "tigress" such as Katie? I mean, the latest PR push has been that being with Tom and having Suri matured her; she's become an all around stronger person as a result. Wasn't that the whole point of the People fluff piece? I personally believe the reason for the short haircut was to make Katie look older, and more "mom-like" (if that makes any sense). This sounds like the type of room they'd be building for Suri. It just sounds very childlike to me.

I have absolutely no doubt these two have separate bedrooms. Heck, they probably have separate wings. I seriously doubt they spend much time together, when the cameras aren't present. Look at the picture in this thread. Don't they just look overjoyed to be together? And the description of the room that KAK supposedly has - - sounds more fitting for Suri, instead of a woman who dresses and looks in appearance like she gets the early bird special on her way to Bingo. **************** They're idiots, which I don't necessarily find offensive. She lived with her first financee for a number of years 2. She got pregnant and had a baby before she got married 3. She had a non-Catholic wedding without so much as a priest in attendance and to the best of anyone's knowledge, did not even get her daughter baptised. Sorry, but if she's a strict Catholic then I am an orthodox Jew. . . Also, the stuffed animals theme is creepy. Maybe this along with her love of cupcakes and pink is suppose to make her appear cute and girly but for a woman reaching 30, I can't help but think of Bette Davis in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?

And living under the same roof while still single, whether having sex or not, is not "proper" for a strict Catholic -- or any seriously religious person, for that matter. Unless there is some sort of health problem that necessitates sleeping in separate rooms, couples who are truly intimate (I'm mostly talking about emotional intimacy here) share a bedroom, if not necessarily a bed (after 20 years of marriage, my mom and dad got separate beds -- but pushed them together -- because she would wake up every time my dad turned over). Even then...separate bedrooms are one thing, but separate wings of a 10,000 square-foot house? Sorry. As Penn & Teller would say: BULLSH!T! My best guess is that this is a pre-emptive strike by Team Cruise in preparation for the Andrew Morton book. After all, the "separate bedrooms" scenario will definitely be covered. I think it's going to backfire. I don't care how rich you are; a couple that doesn't share a bedroom (except in the health scenario) is either in serious trouble, or has an "arrangement". They'll have to do something to keep their names in the press until "Lions for Lambs" promotion nears. I expect we'll see photo ops for KAK shopping, not at Barney's, but at furniture stores, where the owners will "confirm" she was asking for "the biggest, sturdiest bed" they have.
