I saw this and thought I would post it since I know how much you like a good laugh. I actually feel for her, you know, she's going for a look but it's hard when your toting a toddler around. Next time maybe she'll go for flats instead.

She deserves to fall for being so stupid. I wouldn't want Suri to get hurt in the process, though.

That hurts just to look at it. People magazine described it, quoting a "bystander" (!) as saying KAK "slipped". Um...nope. Looks a lot more
like losing your balance while wearing stilts.

People magazine described it, quoting a "bystander" (!) as saying KAK "slipped"They also got the color of the shoes she "slipped' in wrong, which tells us that they didn't see the pics themselves nor was there any "bystander source". As was said in the People thread, that whole piece was so obviously written up by the Cruise's PR folks. |

Who wears killer heels like that for city walking? As someone who has visited and lived in several major cities, I am 100% confident in saying that the
only time you see a woman wearing heels like that is if she is in a cab or perhaps walking from the car to the resturant.

Oh, I don't actually expect KAK to use a stroller. The concept seems to be lost on her as to what they are for. As for the heels, I honestly think she
thinks that she has an image to uphold. I think she is playing "movie star of yester year" when she goes out all dressed up for those photo ops. Too
bad, that movie is only playing in her head.

sxpnce wrote: LOL With respect to the threads on this board about how TomKat are not a"normal" family (not going to the park, the playground, etc.) I don't think "normal" is what they're going for. I think "upscale celebrity family" that dresses to the nines (even though her wardrobe is looking sorta tacky these days) is their goal. They dress Suri in boutique fashions. KAK spends all her time shopping. MTP is now a movie industry mogul. Going to the playground with their kid just isn't on the agenda. Having paps take Suri's pic holding a shopping bag is more in line with their image of themselves. |

Interesting to note: If KAK had actually fallen, Suri could very well have gotten hurt. It is plausible to describe wearing heels while carrying your toddler
and falling off of them as irresponsible parenting. Yet no one in the press or CPS calls her on it.
Meanwhile, if this had happened to Britney or Angelina, the press would have been all over it, demanding an investigation. |

what happened to that bugaboo stroller in pink and khaki that they had in telluride? or was it just outside for a prop? it was clearly an unwanted gift or
manufacturer freebie since we've never seen it. Perhaps for suri's sake its a good thing- being held at these ops is probably the best physical
contact she ever gets with her parents. I am sure the I-11 will claim she practices "attatchment parenting" and does not use strollers so they can
remain close...ha. at least get a silvercross pram if you're so hell bent on trying to look old school wasp/euro/monied.
I'll agree the whole silver screen thing they have pathetically trying to invoke with their wardrobe is ridiculous...but at least this time she looked a bit better. ps brit did nearly fall with mistake #1 in her arms remember that? in heels, her bodyguard or someone helpped catch her. tripping with your kid happens, but we all know there was a lot more going onwith that. i just remember her outfit......wish i had time to post it! |

NewHereWithNoName wrote: Huh? When has anyone ever implied that Angelina was a bad parent? Yeah, she's been criticized for travelling
too much, and people didn't like her "blob" comment about Shiloh when she was still just a newborn. But she has never been so much as
rumored to have endangered or neglected any of her children. If anything, she and Brad have been held up as great,
devoted parents. Britney, by contast, has an obvious pattern of behavior that implies mental illness and possible
neglect and/or endangerment of her children; I don't admire KAK's parenting, but to say CPS should investigate her for falling while wearing heels is a
bit much, IMO.
I have carried my toddler while wearing heels, but for short periods, not for an entire day of photo-ops and
shopping. That's what we're criticizing KAK for. I don't see any signs that KAK is a or irresponsible parent; just an oddly unattached one who
made a stupid mistake. All parents have done that, just not in front of cameras.
Sorry if I'm overreacting a bit; this topic gets me really worked up. I know a couple who recently had their children forcibly removed from their home by CPS because some anonymous neighbor thought they had too many kids (One biological and four fosters who were eventually adopted) and decided to file a bogus report of "possible" abuse. The kids were removed before any investigation took place. The parents were completely cleared and got their kids back within a week -- but the children have been permanently traumatized. They are terrified of even short separations from their parents -- even to go to school. Can you imagine? I feel so sorry for them. I'm all for protecting children, but...government interference to this extent is dangerous, IMHO.
