So, has anybody heard anymore about KAK supposedly competing? Still haven't seen any pics of her "training" or whatever.
ETA: I just checked the official website of the marathon - they have a search function where you can look for the names of the entrants. Nothing under Holmes or Cruise.

OK! is still reporting she'll be running and that her entire family will be there cheering her on:

You know, I hope KH does run and does make it all the way. Not that I like her in any way; it's just that completing the marathon would be an
accomplishment she'd be able to claim as 100% HERS, alone. Maybe it would help give her some very much needed backbone to tell a certain someone just
where to go. . .but perhaps, I'm waxing just a bit too optimistically. I'm always an optimist on Fridays.
More likely, she'll run three blocks with a squad of papparazzi and a limo-driven TC in tow. Photo-op all the way. |

It will be very interesting to see what will happen if she does run and makes it to the end. Will she credit Scientology? Will she thank her a-maz-ing husband
for his love and support? Will Camp Cruise play it up as evidence that she is deliriously happy--a "strong" woman, doing what she loves? Or will she
run, finish, express personal satisfaction, and go quietly into the night?

No way will she be allowed to speak unsupervised. IF she runs, and IF she gets interviewed at the end, I bet you anything MTP will be holding on to her,
grinning like a maniac, and will speak on her behalf. He'll tell the whole world how amazing she is, and she'll stand there looking smug/exhausted.
I still don't think she'll run. How could she have trained for a MARATHON without any pap pictures? Even if, according to OK, she trained early in the morning, wearing a hat etc, at some point someone would have tipped off a photographer, and there would have been at least one picture. PB is our resident marathon expert- how much training do you need to do, is it possible to 'casually prepare' for a marathon? |

TMZ is reporting she is in NYC. I'd love to know when she did all this training, what with her busy scheduling of wandering around aimlessly for photo ops. And it also solidifies that the Cruises are working with OK! magazine, since that's the only mag to have the "exclusive." Hence, anything you read in there has a pretty, shiny CTC/KAK spin on it.

Assuming Katie makes it all the way, she'll have quite a welcoming committee at the finish line, as several members of the Holmes family are flying in from Ohio to cheer her onWell, isn't this the cherry on this BS filled cupcake? The Holmes' have not had much contact with KAK since the ink was drying on the contract and they want us to believe this? If, and that is a big fat IF, she does run...well, good for her. However, I don't think she'll be anywhere near the runners this weekend. I'm sure there is a photo op being scheduled as we type to pull attention away from the marathon.

Isn't this sort of thing something ANYONE can sign up for (and thousands do) and as long as she even crawls through it with or with out training ~ this is
purely for PR....
I've known several friends who have done this - many have really taken it seriously and have truly done it, and then there are others who do it more on a social level for the experience walking the marathon with their friends etc. |

I wonder if she'll wear some nice strappy heels for the occasion. Hopefully she won't mess up the jogging attire. Do you think they'll try and add
a baby bump under her shirt?

Let's not forget that KAK was a smoker before signing her contract. I wouldn't think that would bode well for a marathon run. Maybe the paps can get a
nice shot of her wheezing at the finish line.

Yechh...I'd forgotten about the marathon. I'm taking my daughter to see Laurie Berkner at Carnegie Hall on Sunday. Looks like I'll be on the train.
If I see Katie or Tiny or Suri, I'll have my digital camera!
