One of my areas of study in college was Nazi Germany, and specifically Hitler.

Prior to the application to the "Jewish question", there was an application of the eugenics, "life not worthy of life" to the mentally ill and retarded. So thousands of people in homes/hospitals across the country were killed. The program only stopped after an outcry by the families of the people killed.

There was if you will a tripartite plan-

1. Eliminate those not worthy of life - mentally ill, Jews, gypsies, homesexuals and political undesirables like Communists
2. Increase those worthy of life - the SS(who had to be certified as racially pure) were told to propagate with as many pure women of "Germanic stock" as possible, in and out of marriage. There were SS houses in Germany and occupied countries to encourage this "propagation"-essentially having sex without any obligation with acceptable girls.
3. Appropriating those of Germanic Stock - Many children considered of appropriate germanic stock were kidnapped from places such as Poland and adopted into German families, never to see their real parents again.

This was all part of the eugenics understanding peddled by the Nazis. There was no "psychiatric mind" behind this. The best one can say in support of their arguments was there were eugenicists that Hitler listened to, and the first move was against the mentally ill.

2 Holocaust scholars in the Sci film, including Michael Berenbaum, have repudiated it, Berenbaum noting he believes in psychiatry and the other noting he did not know how what he said was being used. Apparently neithere was told of the Sci connection or purpose.

Sounds amazingly like the use of politicians on their website - either complete fabrications or real politicians were misled.
