Today it was plus 2 Celsius and I drove home in rain. Tomorrow it's supposed to be plus 6. I've never seen it this warm in January; neither have I ever experienced rain in January.

OK, back to playing weather games...
Today, in my home town Melbourne, it was predicted that the heat would reach a maximum of 44 degrees Celcius (111 Farenheit). Normally the maximum is reached anywhere between 3:30 pm and 5:30pm. It's now 12:25pm. By 12:15pm certain parts of the city had already gone over 43 with one outer suburb hitting 44.1. Anyone care to bet against us exceeding the predicted maximum before the day is over? Parts of rural Victoria, NSW and South Australia were predicted to reach up to 46 degrees today. I feel very concerned for the residents, the livestock and the native animals out there. Please pray that all the fickwit firebugs out there all come down with major gastro problems and don't feel like venturing out.

Apparently he was a member of one of the volunteer fire brigades. He was hoping, that by stretching the resources of the other brigades, his team would be called to duty. Stupid-arsed young buck with a hero complex. Anyway Cor, I'm glad you're getting a reprieve wrt the weather - I'm sure there'll be more hot days before the summer's over. It's already hit 46 in some parts of Melbourne including mine. So I've been indoors since midday with the air-con on and I'm not moving for anyone.
