Another celebrity passes on, media jump at chance to be stupid |

Karl Malden, one of the oldtime greats, died on the first of July, 2009. He was 97. Apparently just because they love to hear the sound of their own voices,
the news readers I heard, intoned, "The family has not announced the cause of death."
Cause of death? The gent was 97! Three years short of a cenutry! People wear out! Gad...............

So sad - RIP, Mr. Malden.
 I guess the media just got caught up in the moment, since so many other recent celebrity deaths involved fairly young individuals
(Jackson, Fawcett, Mays, etc).

I loved him in A Streetcar Named Desire. In fact, I think he won a Best Supporting Oscar for that role.
